After a FlexiSpan is installed, you can rest assured that the basement will stay dry! |
After concrete walls are poured, they dry and begin to shrink. This shrinkage will continue for three years or more and sometimes leads to cracks forming in the concrete basement walls. Once a crack forms, continued pressures, such as soil contraction and expansion outside the basement walls, will expand the cracks or cause further cracking and separation. When faced with a problem that is going to evolve, you need a solution that can change with it: a long-term solution that is flexible enough to fix the crack even as the wall moves.
Basement Systems has a great deal of experience in repairing basement wall cracks. In fact, we're innovators in the field-the first to apply polyurethane injection methods to wall cracks. While this technique was a definite improvement over simply patching the cracks, it was not enough. Over time, structural movement, continued shrinking of the wall, and other outside factors caused these repairs to fail.
If your repair method is injection alone, the crack will get larger and continue leaking in the future. Fortunately, Basement Systems has found a better way.
Basement Systems' FlexiSpan Wall Crack Repair System is a way to permanently fix your wall crack and stop leaking- guaranteed! By both sealing the crack and providing a built-in secondary repair in case the seal fails, the FlexiSpan gets the results you need.
