Residential Foundation Repair Case Studies: Lifting concrete sidewalk in Plymouth, MN

Wednesday, July 3rd, 2013 by Jim Laven

Innovative Basement Systems was called to a home in Plymouth, MN for a sinking slab issue.  The homeowner stated that the leaves, rain and ice would collect and the landing of the stairs all year.  This created a very difficult and sometimes dangerous entry the their home.  After investing lots of money and time into the surrounding landscaping to the home the last thing they wanted to do is have the concrete ripped up and poured again.  It was a sure thing that with all the heavy equipment needed to remove the old concrete it would cost even more money to fix the damage to the landscaping once the project was done.

The homeowner meet with a specialist from Innovative Basement Systems to go over some options to solve the issues they were having.  After meeting with us they were relieved to know that we could use PolyLEVEL to bring the concrete back to level eliminating the problems they have been dealing with for many years.  Best of all the homeowner was assured that the landscaping would not be harmed or damaged throughout the whole installation process.
